Fields (2016)

Fields comprises several different material spaces, or ‘fields’ of sound, through which the listener moves. The work is concerned with the formal, dramatic, and rhetorical implications that inhere in combinations of live instrumentation and electronics.
Electronics gradually interfere with the closed, neutral world established by the live ensemble, forcing the material toward change.
